President Muhammadu Buhari’s Special Adviser on Political Matters, Babafemi Ojudu, was on Tuesday seen with Senators loyal to the Senate President, Bukola Saraki at the National Assembly.
Ojudu was seen greeting and exchanging pleasantries with the pro-Saraki Senators seating in front of Senate chamber.
Recall that the leadership of the National Assembly had yesterday called for an emergency meeting today, Tuesday, at 12noon.
However, operatives of the Department of State Services, DSS, had blocked the entrance of the National Assembly, thereby preventing lawmakers and workers from entering the complex.
Despite the siege, some lawmakers loyal to the Senate President forced their way into the complex.
They were seen in front of the Senate chambers.
But in a video shared by Saraki’s aide, Bamikole Omisore, Ojudu refused to respond to questions from reporters on his reason for being present at the National Assembly.
