The governorship candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance in the 2015 general election in Abia state, Dr. Alex Otti has vowed that APGA will take over the governance of Abia come 2019, and described the party as the only alternative for Abians to enthrone the needed change in the state.
Otti made the vow when he visited the Bende Local Government Area chapter of the party, commending the people of Bende for their unflinching support during the 2015 election and assured that APGA was now poised to win and form the next government in Abia state come 2019.
Words: “I’m assuring you that APGA is now poised to take over the leadership of Abia state. Because those who stole our mandate in 2015 have failed to provide dividends of democracy to the people.
“I am appealing to all Abians to go to their various INEC registration points and obtain their permanent Voters card, APC to enable end the misgovernance in the state.
He mocked those who stole APGA’s mandate in 2015 for their failure in the governance of Abia state, and urged the people to obtain their Permanent Voters Card, PVC, to enable them end PDP misrule in the state.

Rev. Ehiemere restated his position that the doors of APGA are open for everyone who means well for APGA and Abia state, but frowned at impostors who might want to join the party with the intention of abandoning it mid way, or for the purpose of clearing the way for their sponsors in PDP.
” I must sincerely commend all APGA members for their comittment and cintinued support to the people. There are people who have been commissioned to destabilize our great, party ahead of 2019 election Am urging you to shun agents of destabilization. We shall get to the promised land.
“Again, I want to state clearly that pur doors are opened for genuine people to join. We don’t want people who will get into political position with the party ticket, at the end, they will dump the party. We don’t want such people in our party”, he said.
He decried the negative actions of some persons in the party, and made case for peace and unity amongst APGA members as that was the only key to achieving success in the forthcoming 2019 poll.
