A thirty-year-old man simply identified as Najite has allegedly defiled a minor of about 4 years in Otovwodo, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
The suspect who is now at large had lured the little girl with biscuits and freebies into his apartment where he defiled her.
An eyewitness who spoke to DAILY POST said, “This is not the first time he, Najite aka Odibie has done this thing and it is an abomination in the sight of God and man.”
The mother of the girl who craved anonymity said,”I noticed some milkish substance coming out of my daughter and on inquiry, she told me that it is brother that did it.”
“When we confronted the suspect, he could not deny the act of immorality he has done.”
“We took our daughter to the hospital for treatment and reported the case to the police.”
“Before the arrival of the Area Commander, Odibie escaped through the ceiling of his house.”
The Delta State Acting Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Andrew Aniamaka confirmed the report, saying the police is doing everything possible to track the suspect and make him face the consequences of his actions in the law court.
