The Kwara State Commissioner of Police, CP, Mr. Samuel Okaula has confirmed the kidnap of Chief Ifeanyi Okoya, the owner of Bovina Hotel, a popular site in Ilorin, the state capital.
Okaula told the Punch on Tuesday that the victim was abducted on Monday evening along Taiwo Road in Ilorin.
According to him, the police got the information late after that he was kidnapped.
He said, “The police have activated mechanism to free the hostage unhurt.
“The command has already arrested three suspects in connection with the abduction,” the CP noted.
