Home-based Super Eagles players have not been paid their bonuses and camp allowances after they were eliminated from the African Nations Championship in Rwanda.

Nigeria lost their last group game 1-0 against Guinea and exited the competition at the first stage.

Head coach, Sunday Oliseh, blamed their unimpressive outing on lack of motivation and up till now, the players are still waiting for the monies to be paid.

“We have not been paid our bonuses and allowances,” a member of the squad disclosed to Completesportsnigeria.com on the condition of anonymity.

“They (the officials) requested that we submit our account numbers before we left Kigali, but we have not heard from them since we came back.

“We are not happy with the situation as nobody has deemed it fit to contact us and inform us on the true picture of things.

“You can imagine us staying in camp all through December in Abuja and then to South Africa without having anything to show for it.

“Most of us arrived in Nigeria with nothing to give to our families.”
