Gonzalo Higuain’s agent, Nicolas, has reacted to Real Madrid star, Cristiano Ronaldo’s potential move to Juventus this summer.
Ronaldo has been linked with a £88million move to the Serie A giants in the past few days and Madrid president, Florentino Perez, has decided to accept the bid.
But Nicolas believes it would be ‘fantastic’ for the Portugal captain to join the Turin club.
“We don’t know anything yet. Gonzalo played with Cristiano Ronaldo for a few years at Real Madrid, but he hasn’t told me if they’ve spoken about this case,” Nicolas told Sky Sport.
“It would be fantastic if Ronaldo signed for Juventus and formed an attacking partnership with Gonzalo.
“They have played a lot of matches together and know each other well.”
The 33-year-old has been offered a £26m-a-year contract by Juve and the player’s agent, Jorge Mendes has fueled rumors of a move to Juve.
“If that happens it’ll be a new chapter and a new challenge in his brilliant career,” Mendes told Portuguese outlet, Record.
“If Cristiano Ronaldo leaves Real Madrid, he’ll be eternally grateful to the club, the president, everyone who works there; the medical staff, every one of the players without any exceptions, the fans and all the Madridistas found across the world.”
Ronaldo was omitted from Madrid’s kit launch for the 2018/19 campaign, which further fanned the rumour mill this week.
The forward has scored 311 goals from 292 games for Real.
