A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Wednesday morning struck out a suit challenging the eligibility of President Goodluck Jonathan to stand for re-election in the 2015 presidential elections, rescheduled to hold on the 28th of March 2015, after it was shifted by the Independent Electoral Commission, INEC, from its original February 14 date.

DAILY POST recalls that there are at least 5 suits challenging the eligibility of President Jonathan to stand for re-election in different courts. Two of the cases have been referred to the Court of Appeal for adjudication while three others have been pending before Federal High Courts prior to this latest ruling.
