Thierry Henry has confirmed that he has left his coaching role at Arsenal, to continue with his punditry on Sky Sports.
The former France international, had been working with Arsenal’s youth sides, as he continues to work towards his UEFA A coaching licence.
Gunners boss, Arsene Wenger, then gave him an ultimate to quit his his £4million-a-year role as a pundit with Sky Sports, to focus on the U-18s.
“I would like to thank Andries Jonker for offering me the chance to coach the U18’s at Arsenal, which I was honoured to accept,” Henry posted on Twitter.
“However I respect Arsene Wenger’s decision and I want to wish their manager Kwame Ampadu, the boys and everyone at the club all the best for the forthcoming season.”
Former Arsenal captain Tony Adams, is expected to be named as Henry’s replacement.
