Former Political Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan, Alhaji Ahmed Gulak, has refuted the report that he has defected from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Gulak, who was reported to have decamped to APC on Wednesday along with other PDP chieftains, said he was not present at the venue of the ceremony and that his name was fraudulently used by some mischief makers to discredit him.
“I want to say that I will remain a staunch PDP member despite the loss of the presidential election by our great paprty. Rather than defect to the APC, I will stay in the party and join forces with like-minded Nigerians to make the PDP to bounce back in the years to come,” Gulak said.
