Guardiola names ‘best player’ he has ever seen in world football

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has identified Midfielder David Silva as one of the best players he has ever seen in world football.

Guardiola stated this on Sunday after his side’s Premier League 3-1 victory over Bournemouth in the Premier League.

Silva, who made his 400th appearance for Man City, was impressive for Guardiola’s men against Bournemouth.

“He played incredibly well,” Guardiola told Match of the Day.

“David in this kind of game – with a defence so deep and with such few spaces – is so good. He’s one of the best players I’ve ever seen.

“It was a tough game, we knew it would be,” Guardiola said, adding that, “We have seven points. We should have nine, but it’s OK”.
