A group, Idanre/Ifedore youth Coalition (IYC) has said it is set to mobilize voters in the Federal constituency to begin the process to recall member representing the area, Hon. Bolarinwa Bamidele, popularly called “Mr. White”.
Coordinator of the group, Adeyemi Alabi said Bamidele had absconded completely from the Federal constituency.
The group also accused the lawmaker of not sponsoring a single bill on the floor of the house since he was elected to represent the people.
It alleged that Bamidele had refused to empower his constituents unlike other members of the house of Representatives in the state.
The group maintained that it will embark on house to house campaign on the need for the people of the area to come out and begin the process to recall Bamidele.
It said “We are indeed unfortunate in Idanre and Ifedore Federal constituency; Hon. Bamidele, has absconded from this area
“His constituency office is non functional, we can’t access our representative, he’s not even available for us, he has not been home for a long time now.
“Our lawmaker has not executed a tangible project, he refused to do empowerment like other lawmakers. We are indeed unfortunate
“Bamidele kept the tricycles he’s supposed to use to empower us in someone’s compound.
“We are pained that our mandate given to Hon. Bamidele has turned to a lost mandate, without no dividend evidently felt among us.
“We have seen so many of what other representatives have done and we are amazed that we are left in the darkness by our own representative.”
Reacting, the Senior Legislative Aide to the lawmaker, Mr. Adeyemi Richard said no group dared try to make any move to recall his boss.
He said no representative had ever done what Bamidele had done in Ifedore/Idanre federal constituency.
He said Bamidele remained committed to the well being of the people of Idanre/Ifedore local government.
