Atletico Madrid forward, Antoine Griezmann, will turn down a summer move to Manchester United, if they fail to qualify for the Champions League.
The France international has emerged as a top target for Jose Mourinho whose side are currently sixth in the Premier League, two points behind fourth-placed Arsenal.
The Sun reports that Griezmann who has an £85million release clause, will snub a move to Old Trafford, if they don’t finish in the top four.
If the 25-year-old eventually makes the move, it is understood he will be placed on the same salary as his international team-mate Paul Pogba – £15million a year – and will sign a five-year deal.
Griemann will then be handed the iconic No. 7 shirt, which was recently vacated by Memphis Depay.
His current deal with Atletico runs out in 2021.
