The Zanu-PF representative in the UK, Nick Mangwana, has dismissed rumours that first lady of Zimbabwe, Grace Mugabe had fled the country.
She reportedly fled the country for neighbouring Namibia.
Mangawana, in an interview with Voice Of America (VOA), Zimbabwe edition said, “Grace Mugabe is still in the country, accelerated events.”
He said that Grace was still in the country and blamed her for having contributed to the military taking power from President Robert Mugabe.
According to him, the first lady contributed to the current situation in by undermining the command of the defence forces, and using youth rallies to address personal issues.
Grace Mugabe has been at the centre of the storm since the military rolled into Harare on Tuesday evening.
