Mallam Isa Yuguda
Bauchi State Governor, Isa Yuguda has described the National Executive Committee meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP which held yesterday as a huge success, explaining that the meeting did not last long because all was now well with the ruling party.
Speaking with State House Correspondents shortly after the meeting, the Governor said the meeting could not last long because it was organised specifically to verify the date of the forthcoming mini-convention of the party, which is scheduled for next weekend in the Southwest geopolitical zone.
He noted that the meeting was brief, an indication also that all was now well with major stakeholders in the party.
Yuguda said, “The meeting went on very well, very short and straight to the point. It was just for the ratification of the date for the convention; that was all”.
“A lot of goodies. People were disturbed that it lasted for only 15 minutes? It shows that the family is together and that everybody is working together. Is this the sign of good things to come?Oh, yes, we are now happy with one another. The family is together and If there was a problem, we would have stayed longer to solve it,” he added.
He added that the ongoing crisis rocking the Nigerian Governors Forum, NGF, was being resolved and that the body was gradually coming together.
