Governor Obiano pays congratulatory visit to Buhari

Anambra State Governor, Mr Willie Obiano on Friday stormed the Aso Drive residence of President-Elect, Gen. Mohammadu Buhari in Abuja where he pledged support of the entire South East to the incoming administration.

Obiano, who noted that he embarked on the visit to congratulate the President-elect for his well-deserved victory at the polls stressed that he equally came to table the expectations of Ndigbo from the Buhari administration.

He categorically told Buhari that the whole of Anambra supported him during the March 28 election.

This visit by the Anambra governor is coming on the heels of widespread speculations that he was planning to defect to the All Progressives Congress, APC from the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, on whose platform he was voted into office.
