The Plateau State Governor, Jonah Jang has expressed sadness over the demise of the father of Lagos state Governor, Pa Ademola Fashola.

He made this known in a press statement issued by his Director of Press and Public Affairs, James Mannok on Tuesday in Jos.

The Statement urged Governor Babatunde Fashola and the entire Fashola Family to accept the death as the will of the Almighty God, and be consoled that he did not only build a solid foundation for them, but must have died fulfilled having left an accomplished family which include a two term Governor as a son, and a legacy of service to humanity.

Governor Jang urged the family to remain strong and to continue to pray for divine comfort.

Also, the Governor expressed shock over the death of three Journalists in a car crash, saying it was a big loss, urging the Nigeria Union of Journalists to pursue an insurance policy for practitioners, considering the risk of the profession.

He called on members of the pen profession not to be deterred in carrying out their duties due to the death of their three colleagues.
