Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu on Friday dissolved his entire cabinet.
DAILY POST learnt that all but two Commissioners were affected.
Those he retained are Commissioners of Finance, Obinna Oriaku and Commissioner for Justice and Attorney-General, Umeh Kalu.
Ikpeazu also sacked his personal aidesincluding all Special Advisers and Senior Special Assistants.
The Chief of Staff retains his position but the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Eme Okoro was removed.
Recall that Ikpeazu’s election was affirmed by the Supreme Court last month.
A five-man bench of the apex court led by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen, unanimously upheld Ikpeazu’s election as Abia State Governorafter dismissing Uche Ogah’s appeal for lack of merit.
