Governor Chime swears in 13 new permanent secretaries

Enugu State Governor, Sullivan Chime on Thursday appointed 13 new permanent secretaries to stir the affairs of the State civil service.

Chime who was represented by his deputy, Ralph Nwoye while swearing in the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries in Enugu, called on them to see their appointment as a call to serve humanity and the State.

He urged the new appointees to move the State to a greater height, using their wealth of experience as his government has zero tolerance for corruption.

Chime affirmed, “This appointment is for you to add value to this administration and the incoming one.

“You must ensure smooth running of the civil service to enable the government succeed.”

While speaking on behalf of the newly appointees, Mrs May Anayo-Enechukwu, pledged the total support of the new appointees, assuring that they were committed to moving the civil service to a greater height.

Enechukwu, said “The appointment of the right people into various positions has accelerated the development of the state.”
