Gov. Mohammed states Bauchi’s position on Ruga Settlement

The Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, has expressed his state’s willingness to host the Ruga farm settlement for herdsmen.
Mohammed stated this while speaking with State House correspondents in Abuja on Monday.
Recall that the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal government had disclosed that it was working towards establishing Ruga settlements for herdsmen in 12 pilot states nationwide.
Mohammadu Umar, the Permanent Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, made this known in Abuja recently.
