Gov Chime hale and hearty – Commissioner

Enugu State Commissioner for Information, Chuks Ugwoke has described as the handiwork of mischief makers, the rumour making the round that the State Governor, Sullivan Chime is dead.

Reacting to the thick rumour that went viral across the country on Thursday, that the governor had passed on, Ugwuoke stated that Chime was very much alive.

He said the news was unfounded as “the Governor is hale and hearty.”

He stressed that the Governor had no business, health or otherwise in India and vowed that this time around, the government would get to the root of the rumour, to unmask those behind the incessant posting of such fake news in the internet.
