Gov. Yahaya Bello’s ADC Shigaba on Saturday stormed Kogi State Union of the Nigeria Union of Journalists with armed thugs, policemen according to them in search of ballot boxes.
The ADC who arrived NUJ located at Lord Luggard road in twelve hilux vehicles with stern looking thugs and policemen said they had information that ballot papers and boxes were been thumbprinted.
The ADC and his men after ransacking the NUJ premises left, but with a promise to continue in their search.
As at the time of the siege of the NUJ by the police, all working journalists were on the field for election duty, the fierce looking thugs met only the operators of the bar and those working in the centre.
