Gov. Bello appoints new CPS

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has approved the appointment of Onogwu Mohammed as the new Chief Press Secretary of the State.

The Secretary to the Kogi State government, Mrs Folashade Arike Ayoade confirmed this in a statement on Tuesday.

DAILY POST reports that the appointment followed the resignation of Petra Akinti Onyegbule on Monday.

Ayoade said the appointment takes immediate effect.

Onogwu, a graduate of the University of Jos, was before his new appointment, the State Editor in Chief of InsideStory, an online news medium financed by the Kogi State government.
