Good people know Buhari is working – Adesina [VIDEO]

Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, says the government is working for the good of Nigeria.

In a video shared online on Monday, Adesina said “good people know Buhari is working for them”.

He added that one thing not in doubt is the president’s integrity.

“Like the president had promised when he was a candidate and campaigning for election, he said all money that came into the treasury will be used for the good of Nigerians and that is what is happening.

“He has improved on power and this government is targeting 10,000mw.

“When this administration came into power, foreign reserve stood at $29.6bn. As I speak now, we have foreign reserve of $40bn.

“This government is out to serve Nigeria. You know of strides in TSA, continuos auditing, tax collection.

“FIRS collected over 4trn in 2017, Nigeria Customs collected over N1trn in 2017.

“It is not that these monies were not there but they were going to private pockets.

“But with emphasis on accountability, they now go into government coffers for the use of the people.”
