Watford striker, Odion Ighalo, has expressed confidence that he will find his scoring boots in the New Year at club and national team levels.
The Super Eagles stat endured a miserable 2016, in which he scored only six times in 37 games. He also went on his longest ever goal drought of 11 games.
This was a far cry from last year, where Ighalo scored 29 goals in 38 matches.
“I’m working hard, and I so much believe that the goals will flow in the New Year,” Ighalo told Completesportsnigeria.com.
The 26-year-old is expected to make his 98th appearance for the Hornets who play Crystal Palace on Boxing day.
