Giwa FC defender, Nojeem Raji, has said that they are eyeing a win over FC Ifeanyi Ubah in Nnewi this Sunday.
In their last game, Giwa beat Sharks 1-0 and Raji feels they can carry the momentum into the Week 31 clash, as they seek to clinch a continental slot.
“We are in Nnewi for business, we are here for the maximum points and this is not just being boastful or anything like that,” Raji said.
“The season has been long and exhausting but we are grateful for where we are now on the log and the plan is to climb further up the ladder.
“The league has reached the crucial point and we can’t afford to fail at this point after all the hard work we have put in throughout the season.
“I believe we have what it takes to get a continental slot at the end of the season. We will keep working hard to achieve that goal.”
Giwa FC are currently fifth on the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) after 30 games with 49 points.
