Arsenal striker, Olivier Giroud, has spoken out about his future at the club, amid reports that Everton are ready to bid £20million for him.

Giroud could leave the Emirates this summer, as the Gunners close in on a £44million-plus move for Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette.

Everton see the France international as the perfect replacement for Romelu Lukaku, who has been heavily linked with a return to Chelsea. But Giroud is keen to stay at Arsenal.

“I won a few titles in my career, that is an important thing, but there is another thing which is important for me,” Giroud told arsenal.com.

“And that’s the people [see you as a] loyal warrior on the pitch – that you always give your best for the team.

“And that’s why I want to carry on my good journey at Arsenal and I always want to give my best.

“I would love to win another title, or maybe more until the end of my contract.

“The motivation is here, always doing your best to make your family proud.”

Giroud only signed a new contract in January until 2020.
