Controversial Ghanaian pastor and founder of International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim, has been arraigned in court for flogging two teenage members of his church for having premarital sex.
Recall that recently, a video which went viral on the social media, captured the bishop flogging his teenage members – a 16-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl in church for having premarital sex that resulted to pregnancy.
The Bishop was charged alongside two of his aides before a Circuit Court in Accra on Thursday.
They were charged for committing physical abuse.
The Accra Circuit court, presided over by Mrs. Ruby Aryeetey, granted each of them a bail of GHS10, 000 with one surety to be justified.
Aryeetey adjourned the case to November 24 for trial.
