Head coach of Germany, Joachim Low, has warned his team that Cameroon are dangerous opponets, as they seek to qualify for the semi-final of the Confederations Cup on Sunday.
Germany need just a point from the match in Sochi, but Cameroon can advance if they win by two clear goals.
“Cameroon have nothing left to lose,” Low told a news conference on Saturday.
“They can only advance if they win.
“Tomorrow will be one of the most challenging and physically intensive games. When you see how fast they play, what pace they have in their players in attack, this mixture is not seen often. They are so persistent and fast.”
Low has also revealed he will bring in Antonio Rudigier, to counter the pace of the African champions.
“I had already planned this because Cameroon have such crazy quick players,” he said.
“These are also Rudiger’s strengths with his strength and his speed.
“I cannot change too much.
“I cannot swap seven or eight because the basic structure must remain. But four or five changes are conceivable.”
Low has never failed to reach the semi-finals of a major tournament since taking charge of Germany and Cameroon have never beaten Germany in their three previous meetings.
