Two weeks after Nigerians were thrown into wanton confusion, following the abduction of Mrs. Titilayo Oluwole, wife of the former Military Governor of the old Western State, Brig.-Gen. Oluwole Rotimi (Rtd), all is now calm as she was finally set free by her captors on Friday.

DailyPost gathered that the woman was found on the Lagos-Ijebu Ode Road, near Ikorodu, Lagos State.

Her release was confirmed by one of her friends, Mrs. Dupe Lawale, in Lagos on Friday night. Lawale is the Managing Director of Emmanuela Travels at Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos.

Also confirming her freedom, Police Public Relations Officer in Oyo State, Mr. Ayodele Lanade, said, “We learnt that she became conscious shortly after being released by her captors. She regained consciousness and was crying. We gathered that she walked up to a woman who told her where she was and called her relatives.”
