The Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta Affairs and Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Brigadier General Paul Boroh(rtd) has arrived Delta State, ahead of the visit of the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo.
On his arrival, Boroh and his entourage paid a courtesy call on the King of Gbaramatu Kingdom, HRH Aketekpe Agadagba, The Pere of Gbaramatu Kingdom, to inform him of Osinbajo’s visit.
Receiving Boroh and his entourage, the monarch expressed excitement on the visit of the Vice President to his Kingdom.
Boroh also visited the site of the proposed Niger Delta Maritime University.
The Vice President has been scheduled to commence a working visit to the oil rich region today.
Osinbajo’s visit is aimed at reaffirming the readiness and determination of the President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration towards finding a permanent solution to the crisis in the oil rich region.
