Ismaila Gata has promised goals, after he completed his transfer to IfeanyiUbah FC.
Gata will face his former team, Niger Tornadoes, in a Match Day 20 fixture of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) on Sunday.
“Yes, it’s confirmed I am a player of FC IfeanyiUbah and will appear in their colours in the second stanza of the league,” he told SuperSport.
“I was warmly welcomed to the camp of FC IfeanyiUbah, I liked what I met on ground, the offer as well as the challenges.
“The team told me outright that they want continental ticket in the ongoing top-flight and I have promised them successes.
“Right now we are almost heading off to Lokoja for the matchday 20 clash at former side, Niger Tornadoes.
“I’m excited and keenly looking forward to match day to unleash the whole arsenal on the Minna outfit.
“At least, I hope to score a brace in the encounter to kick start my stint at FC IfeanyiUbah on a happy note.
“We are professional and should see our present club as our home and do our best to ensure its success.
“I did my very best for Niger Tornadoes while the romance lasted now my loyalty is wholly with FC IfeanyiUbah and I will do my best to further the course of the side.
“I do not know whether or not I will celebrate my goals but the key for me is victory for my side.”
IfeanyiUbah FC are currently 11th on the NPFL table with 27 points.
