Salihu Tanko Yakasai, Special Adviser on Media to Kano State governor, Abdullahi Ganduje has reacted to reports that all the State Assembly members on Tuesday decamped to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Reports had on Tuesday emerged that all the lawmakers in Kano State had defected to the PDP.
However in a swift reaction, Yakasai, on Twitter described the report as “false”
Yakasai wrote, ”FLASH: Fake news going round that Kano State Assembly members have defected to PDP is utterly false.
”There are only 6 members out of 40 that are loyal to Kwankwaso who up till now have not made any announcement of their decamping to PDP.
”Ganduje has Kano locked down. No shaking.”
