Ganduje employs 2,500 doctors, nurses, others for Kano health sector

Kano State governor, Umar Ganduje, has employed 2,500 workers.

The new employees will be dispatched to different facilities and agencies across the state.

During the presentation of letters of appointment on Tuesday, Ganduje said the healthcare staff are to commence work immediately in the 44 local government areas of the state.

“The officials will work in our primary and secondary healthcare facilities, medical board, specialist laboratories and Primary Healthcare Management Board.

“Some as medical doctors, nurses and others as pharmacists.

“We assure you that your employment has come at a right time when we are laying emphasis on improving our health facilities.

“I urge you to work diligently so that our hospitals will operate to the optimum”, the governor appealed.
