Kano Pillars striker, Gambo Mohammed is available for selection when his team hosts Nasarawa United on Sunday.
The Super Eagles player has been out of action for five months, after he was shot by armed robbers, who attacked Pillars on their way to a league match in March.
Gambo has undergone surgery to remove the bullets around his collar bone and is now ready to play.
“Gambo is the 18-man squad for the match against Nasarawa United. He has fully recovered from his gunshot wounds and has pulled his weight in training to now be considered for selection,” Pillars spokesman Idris Malikawa told AfricanFootball.com
“We give God the glory and thank the fans and all those who supported us in a very trying time for the club and now Gambo is back to the team.
“The player himself has told me he is ready to lead the Pillars attack once again.”
Captain Rabiu Ali and Moses Ekpai are also back in the squad.
