Reno Omokri, former Presidential aide to Goodluck Jonathan, has revealed that the Bible is strongly against Fulani herdsmen grazing on people’s land.
Omokri, a former Personal Assistant to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan made the remark while citing a passage from the Bible-Exodus 22 verse 5.
The former Presidential aide said unlawful grazing on someone’s land must be met with restitution.
In a tweet via his Twitter handle, Omokri wrote: “Even Bible is against Fulani herdsmen grazing on people’s land with impunity “If anyone grazes livestock in a field or vineyard and lets them stray and they graze in someone else’s field, the offender must make restitution from the best of their own field or vineyard”-Exo 22:5.”
This is coming at a time when the Senior Pastor, Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), Abuja, Dr Paul Enenche declared that it was high time people started defending themselves against those killing people in Nigeria either in the name of politics or religion.
The fiery preacher affirmed that people would no longer fold their arms and watch others maim and waste them for no reason.
