Fulani herdsmen kill six in Christian-dominated area in Kaduna

Some gunmen believed to be Fulani herdsmen killed no fewer than six farmers last Saturday in Godogodo, Jema’a Local Government Area, in Kaduna South.

Kaduna South is dominated by Christians.

The incident is coming barely two weeks after 11 persons were killed and several houses razed down in the same area.

Residents told Vanguard that on arrival, the herdsmen told them that their villages had become cattle grazing reserves and wanted them to vacate immediately.

Kaduna State Police Spokesman, ASP, Aliyu Usman, who confirmed that six people were killed, said some arrests had been made.
