Femi Fani-Kayode, former Minister of Aviation, on Tuesday reacted to the killing of two policemen by suspected Fulani herdsmen in Benue State.
The suspected herdsmen were said to have killed the two policemen after attacking Mopol 13, stationed at Awashuwa village in Logo local government area of the state on Monday.
In his reaction, Fani-Kayode likened herdsmen to Biblical Ishmael, whose “hand will be against every man and every man’s hand against him.”
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, chieftain, in a tweet via his social media handle, wrote: “The Fulani herdsmen attacked Mopol camp in Benue, killed two policemen by SLITTING their THROATS.
“Of Ishmael, the son of the bonded woman Hagar, the Holy Bible says:
“He will be a wild man: his hand will be against every man and every man’s hand against him” (Gen. 12:13).
“Sounds familiar?
“The reign of King Agag and the rulership of the Agagites will soon be over!”
