“Fuel scarcity will end soon in Ondo” – New IPMAN chairman

The Independent Petroleum Marketers’ Association of Nigeria, IPMAN, Ore Depot, Ondo State, has promised to end the lingering fuel scarcity in the state.

People of the state have been undergoing hardship in the past one month owing to the scarcity of petroleum products.

The new chairman of the Association, Bayode Olowookere, made the pledge today in Akure, the State capital.

Olowookere, who was unanimously elected as chairman by members of the association, attributed non-availability of petroleum products at Ore Deport to the handiwork of a cabal.

He wondered why a group of people would continue to inflict pains on others because of their selfish interest, promising to address all issues affecting the Ore Deport.

He said: “I have made a promise that I am going to transform Ore Deport. There are lots of things that are happening in the deport like non-availability of fuel.

“This problem is caused by a small number out of our members. They are sitting on it and I have made a promise that I am going to remove this cabal and make sure Ore Deport has products every time”.

Olowookere said there were no factions in the association, adding that “the two factions have come together and resolved their problem. It was the two factions that participated in this election through which I emerged chairman”.
