Foremost nationalist, Alhaji Mudi Spikin is dead. He passed on Tuesday night at his private residence in Fagge, Kano State.
Until his death, the late Spikin, a poet and initiator of the Northern Elements Progressive Union (NEPU) was imprisoned severally in his lifetime for his political activism.
According to report, the literary doyen has since been buried at a public cemetery according to Islamic rites.
He is survived by wives, children, grand children and many relations.
