The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has released the acting Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Premier League, Tunji Babalola, on administrative bail.

Babalola was picked up in his office on Monday over allegations bordering on fraud and misappropriation of funds.

DailyPost gathered that the NPL boss was freed on Wednesday, after fulfilling his bail conditions.

However, he is to appear before the commission on a regular basis as investigations are still ongoing.

Babalola was named acting head of the NPL, after the congress sacked the Victor Baribote-led board.
