Four dead as Emir Of Kano escapes assassination attempt

Respected monarch and the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero, had a close shave with death earlier today as his convoy was attacked by unknown gunmen who opened fire on some of the  vehicles including his limousine.

It was gathered that the attack, which occurred at Massallacin Murtala, left four persons dead while the monarch escaped unhurt.

It would be recalled that two members of the state’s House of Assembly were recently killed by unknown gunmen in Kano.
