Former Wike’s media aide, Opunabo Inko-Tariah declares support for Dakuku, APC

Opunabo Inko-Tariah, former Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has declared his support for the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate in the last governorship election in the state, Dr Dakuku Peterside, stating that he has seen “the need for change.”

Inko-Tariah in a statement he issued in Port Harcourt, the state capital declared his readiness to assist Peterside and APC wrestle power from Wike if the Supreme Court orders for a governorship election re-run in the state.

“Some persons may ask why I am supporting Peterside. It is simple. There comes a time when time itself needs change. For me, this is that time,” he said.

He promised to work for the APC governorship candidate if the Supreme Court orders a supplementary election in the state, adding that Peterside will make people of the state to smile.

Inko-Tariah who a few months ago was a fierce critic of Amaechi, Peterside and APC served under Wike for six months before tendering his resignation letter.
