Ex-Nigeria International, Osaze Odemwingie, has continued his goal scoring form after he netted the only goal in Madura United’s 1-0 home win against Persiba Balikpapan in the Indonesian top flight on Monday.
The 36-year-old scored in the 37th minute to give Madura United a slim victory as they moved top of the league table.
Odemwingie has now scored 13 goals from 14 league appearances since joining Madura United as a free agent.
The goal against Persiba Balikpapan means Odemwingie has now scored in his last 3 league games.
Also the goal is Odemwingie’s fourth in his last three league games for Madura.
The win moved Madura United to top of the Indonesian 18-team league table on 28 points after 15 league games.
