Former Real Madrid president says Spanish club wants him back

Former president of Real Madrid, Ramon Calderon, has claimed that the club is very interested in bringing Jose Mourinho back.

Calderon insisted that current president, Florention Perez, tried to bring him back last year and Rafa Benitez was their fourth choice.

Mourinho left Madrid in 2013 after three years amid controversy and a dressing room revolt.

But Calderon, in an explosive interview with beIN Sports, said: “If he is not anymore in Chelsea, I think Perez would be really willing to bring him back to Real Madrid.

“They tried last summer but it was not possible because he stayed at Chelsea. They tried for Joachim Loew, Jurgen Klopp, Mourinho then Benitez.

“If things do not work out for Benitez and they do not work out for Mourinho at Chelsea then I think Perez will look to bring him back.”
