A former gubernatorial aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Alhaji Umar Abdullahi Tsauri Tata, who defected to the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA has vowed to take APGA to victory in all the 2015 elections in Katsina state.

Tata had defected to APGA following the controversial outcome of the state PDP gubernatorial primary elections.

In a chat with newsmen shortly after being declared the winner of APGA gubernatorial primary elections in the state, the aspirant promised to deploy his resources and godwill to ensure the success of APGA in the state.

He said he had since known “that the outcome of the PDP primary elections would be tailored to favour the candidate of the state governor; but I refused to bow out of the contest waiting for the final verdict.

“This was to assure my teeming supporters in PDP that I was willing to fight to the last”.

According to him having achieved that, he had no reason whatsover to remain in a party that had hurt him more than it had done to any of its followers since it birthed in the state.
