Former PDP chairman arrested in Kaduna

Former Kaduna State Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) Chairman, Yaro Makama Rigachikun, has been arrested.
Although, details are still sketchy, but it was alleged that security operatives whisked him away a couple of hours ago and took him to an undisclosed location.
Confirming the arrest when contacted, the Kaduna PDP PRO, Alberah Catoh, said that he was picked up about three hours ago before the publication.
The arrest came a day after the PDP in Kaduna raised the alarm that its top leaders in the state have been penciled down for arrests.
Although, at the time of filing this report, reasons behind his arrest remain unknown, but sources said it might not be unconnected to comments he made at a recent campaign function.
