A federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday remanded former governor of Jigawa State, Saminu Turaki in Kuje prison.

This is coming barely five days after the same court granted Turaki bail with two sureties.

At the court sitting on Tuesday, which was presided over by Justice Nnamdi Dimgba, Turaki was remanded in prison until he is able to meet the conditions attached to the bail granted to him earlier.

The ex-governor was arrested by the EFCC on July 4th at a ceremony in Abuja after evading arrest for 6 years.

He was arraigned by the anti-graft commission alongside 3 companies, Arkel construction, INC natural resources Ltd and Wildcat construction Ltd.
