Football fan killed by rival supporters in Argentina [VIDEO]

A football fan in Argentina has died of head injuries after being pushed from a stand by an angry crowd who saw him as an opponent fan.

The fan identified as Emanuel Balbo had reportedly quarreled with a man during weekend’s derby match between his Belgrano team and the visiting Talleres in the northern city of Cordoba.

Another fan who watched as the incident played out said the man had shouted that Balbo was a disguised Talleres fan.

Video footage of the incident on internet showed Balbo, a 22-year-old man being pushed over the edge of a stand.

Balbo was seen falling from a height of about five metres onto concrete stair.

He was reportedly rushed to a hospital with severe head injuries, where doctors confirmed him dead.

However, four people have been arrested over the attack, with the Argentine Football Association, AFA, calling for “those responsible for this inconceivable assault’’ to be brought to justice.
