Flying Eagles fight back to beat Sudan in Khartoum

Nigeria’s U-20 team, on Sunday fought back from a goal down to defeat their hosts Sudan 2-1 in Khartoum,

Mohamed put the home side ahead and held firm, until Samuel Chukwueze equalized in the second half.

Victor Osimhen ensured the Flying Eagles left Sudan with a win, after he finished off a fine move in the 86th minute of the game.

Nigeria will host the return leg of the fixture between July 22-24.

The winner over the two legs, will qualify for next year’s U-20 AFCON in Zambia, where they will be trying to defend their title.
