Flamingoes to resume camping on Sunday

Nigeria’s U-17 women national team, will return to camp on November 29, ahead of the qualifying tournament for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Juardan next year.

The general secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Mohammed Sanusi, confirmed that the Flamingoes will camp in Abuja ahead of the game in January.

He also confirmed coach Bala Nkiyu will lead the team, despite his showing in Costa Rica last year.

“We are will begin preparation as soon as possible, though we are drawn bye in preliminary stage,” Sanusi told Goal.

“The team (Flamingoes) will reopen camp on Sunday (November 29) in Abuja. The previous coaching crew will still remain intact,” he said.

Nigeria will play the winner between Bostwana and Namibia in the first round of qualifying.
